This is the item in the center of the shutter. For North Orleans style, that is a cutout hole. For Traditional style it is a cutout that is attached on top.
If you select stained, we will work with you on the stain color later. We use PPG Proluxe SRD (Sikkens) stain and finish. You can see colors available here. Most samples on our website are done in Natural SRD (SRD-078). We will use custom stains or paints on request.
